I am a global technology executive and inventor specializing in advanced drilling fluids, cementing, and high-temperature wellbore construction. With over 25 years of experience scaling operations for the world's largest service companies and E&P operators, I provide fractional executive leadership, R&D strategy, and high-level technical advisory to the upstream energy sector and advanced energy ventures.
Executive Track Record & Scale
Before launching my advisory practice, I spent decades scaling high-performance technical organizations across both massive enterprise and lean, venture-backed environments.
As a Senior Petroleum Engineering Consultant for eight years at Saudi Aramco, I founded and led a core Drilling Technology Center of Excellence in Houston, Texas, that drove strategic localization initiatives targeting $59MM in annual supply chain cost reductions.
During my 23-year tenure at Halliburton Baroid, my leadership spanned global commercial strategy and massive field execution. I directed the commercial strategy for a $550MM oil-based drilling fluids portfolio, managed global technical services for completion and reservoir drilling fluids, and oversaw field operations for up to 180 active rigs concurrently across US unconventionals.
Most recently, I translated this enterprise scale into the advanced energy ecosystem, directing technology commercialization for venture-backed Geomechanical Pumped Storage (GPS) at Quidnet Energy to drive Long-Duration Energy Storage (LDES) viability, and spearheading high-temperature fluid deployment for extreme geothermal assets.
